JSSL’s strategically located Sales & Marketing team interact with a large range of clients across public and private sectors including Industrial, Real Estate, Infrastructure and Power.

Following receipt of an enquiry the technical team review and evaluate the documentation of the client. After a feasibility study, the sales team informs the customer about the suitability for manufacture in the company’s facility.

In the event, further clarification is required this will be resolved during discussions between the sales team and the customer, consultant, architect or the customer’s representative.

The estimating department prepares the offer based on details and information shown on the project drawings, available data and the sales team sends the same to the customer.

JSSL has a high calibre in-house design team who use analysis and detailing programs like ETABs, STAADPro, FABSEC, TEKLA and other in-house customized spread sheets to create steel design and drawings.

Using our documentation sharing software, JSSL shares the scope of work with team members and all records are uploaded allowing access for each department.

A dedicated project manager is assigned as a single point of contact for the client. Their job is to ensure information flow between all parties, co-ordinate with departments within JSSL, monitor design, drawing and detailing, production, through to erection and completion on site.

The Tekla software is a solid 3D model of the structure, incorporating all steel members, fittings, connections, bolts, weld and paint information. The Tekla model is built up around information provided either by the consulting engineer or JSSL in-house design team for design and build. Additional Bespoke software is used to integrate the Tekla model with the machinery for minimization of wastage through nesting of materials.

The entire steel structure is fabricated in an automatic fabrication facility at the JSSL premises in Bellary, Karnataka. The facility is fully CNC controlled and managed by skilled and experienced staff who benefit from unparalleled space, layout and logistics. The steelworks is fabricated in load and build sequence and stored in the stockyard ready for timely dispatches to sites.

JSSL is the only Structural Steel Works Company in India which deploys its own in-house crew for erection. The head of construction is an expat who has extensive experience in the erection of many iconic and extremely complex steel structures in UK and in India. The erection crew is also highly experienced in complex erections of structural steel buildings.

After progressive safety checks, the new structure is signed off by the construction team and handed over, along with a full quality package containing all material certification
